From peek-a-boo, baby progresses to hide-and-seek. This is even more exciting to her as the hidden person (you) moves about. Helping another baby find her mommy, albeit in a book, is an important mission as your baby herself cannot let you go out of her sight.

You could also introduce the various sections of a house by prompting your baby to guess the room the object is in. For example, when the baby is looking behind the shower curtain, she is in the bathroom. The chair is in the living room, the table in the dining room and so on. As with all Karen Katz's books, the illustrations are adorable and colourful.
